Solitude..

..a solitary tree I see each time I drag myself to work.
It grows on the bank of a small stream with only the fields and the occasional passing wanderer as company.
This particular morning the low rolling clouds turned into a mist and engulfed the fields around it, making the air into something resembling rain, but not quite tangible.
